Happy Birthday, Singapore!!!Lol~Just reached home and I'm here to blog about today's events! My irritating little bro made me wake up so early this morning, but he didn't wake up on time..Damn! Gonna sleep in tomorrow morning to make up for the loss of sleep! Hahas.. =p Then we went Taman Jurong to eat kway chap for lunch, saw Hui Ping's mum and dad there, but where's Hui Ping? Hahas..Must be sleeping at home..Then proceeded to NTUC to do marketing for prayer, was so crowded and my dad was in a rush, making us so flustered, mum kept going back to retrieve things while my dad was paying, so I had to squeeze through the crowd to the cashier several times, and everyone in the queue was staring at me as I kept returning with more things, so embarrassing! Then went to Jurong West Market to get some more things for prayer, was such a hot day, had to wait in the hotness whilst my dad select durians, and my mum getting the incense paper etc..And then, back home! =) Got to sleep for quite a while before my mum woke me up to do housework.. =( so I had to vacuum and mop the floor..Shoulders aching..Hahas..But used to it..Finally went out to visit my grandparents. This is the emotional part of the day, I suppose..Went to visit my grandpa at the nursing home, he was crying..Which made me sad..It seems as if yesterday that he was warded in the hospital and we had to make regular trips to care for him..And it hurts to keep seeing him cry although he worries for nothing most of the times and cry..I have never seen my grandpa cry, until he fell sick..Those old people at the nursing home, who can ever feel that type of loneliness they're going through? I felt so sad when I saw the old man talking to the air, waiting for just someone to talk to them..My grandpa often ask us about the weather, the time, what day is it..Unlike the other occupants, my grandpa has us to visit him every weekend, but some other occupants are not that lucky..They often look at us as if they're longing for their relatives or children to visit, but no one comes..How filial you are? Have you ever wondered if you would make time for your old and frail parents and care for them despite your busy schedule in the future? I really wonder..Anyway, the next and last stops for the day were my both grandmas' houses..Went for a walk with my cousins, something which I have not done for a long time..And now, I am back home! Eating durians now! Yummy! Hahas..Join me? =p Cya tml!!
